Did Cone think Brownlee would be this good?

"Absolutely not," he remarked. "Absolutely not. I mean it was kind of a panic get. We needed someone today.

"It wasn't like we had two, three weeks to negotiate and get them over and watch all the video. It was a little bit of a panic get so I had no idea he was gonna be this good. But what makes Justin special is not just his game, it's his personality. That's what makes him special. That's why he keeps coming back."

The Gin Kings can make it to an 8th final since Brownlee first arrived with another win on Wednesday.

Cone is cautiously optimistic, stressing: "Well, I mean, I think a lot of it depends on (Magnolia star) Paul Lee. You know, I think (his) injury took the wind out of their sails. And you know, it's hard to make in-game adjustments like that when you lose your star player. And he really has been their star. He's given us fits."

Lee had flu-like symptoms and played just two minutes. If he recovers in time for Game 4, then it could be a different story.

"We won the first game, they won the second, we won the third," Cone said. "What normally happens in the fourth, that's something that we have to try to overcome."
